(WWJ) A Michigan toddler who was the subject of an Amber Alert Monday morning has been been found safe.
Cell phones across the state sounded for an emergency alert, as Lansing Township Police were searching for 2-year-old Phoenix Washington Jr. -- allegedly taken by his father.
Police said the child was abducted at around 5:30 a.m., in black, 2011 Mazda 3.
Before noon, Michigan State Police said the little boy had been recovered and was unharmed.
It's not yet clear if the suspect, identified by as 26-year-old Phoenix Washington, was in custody, or if he will face any charges.
No further information was released.
