ANN ARBOR (WWJ) Ann Arbor Police are searching for a suspect in two "groping" incidents in the downtown area.
Police said the first incident happened at 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, in the area of Fifth and William. An unknown man approached a woman from behind and groped her, police said.
According to police, the victim continued walking and the suspect once again came up from behind and groped her. She confronted him and he ran south on Fifth Avenue.
The second incident allegedly happened about twenty minutes later, outside a home on Greenwood, near Packard and East University. Police said a different woman reported a man approaching her from behind and groping her while she was walking up to a front porch.
Both victims described the suspect as 20 to 25 years old, 5'8" to 6'0" with a skinny build, and wearing a light-colored jean jacket and beanie style hat. A man believed to be the suspect was caught on Ring Doorbell camera (see above).
