(WWJ) Dion Bridges, AKA Buddy, yearned to be a restaurant owner to support his family one day.
He was also an active member of Puritan St. Baptist Church, a painter at a commercial paint company, and a beloved son and friend.
His life was cut short on the evening of July 4, 2019 during a senseless shooting at a holiday BBQ.
Police say Dion was enjoying fireworks, and his family, and friends when an unknown suspect opened fire from across an alleyway into the crowd.
The shooting happened in a neighborhood on Schoenherr at Seven Mile.
Dion was struck and died from his injuries. He was only 21 years old.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest. The reward will be paid out at the time the suspect is taken into custody as Crime Stoppers does not wait for a conviction.
