CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- There was a strange occurrence at the USPS Post Office in Clinton Township last night.
WWJ’s Charlie Langton reports that the strip mall on Garfield Road, in which the office is located, had to be evacuated after the bricks began crumbling from the side of the building.
Authorities from the Clinton Township Fire Department have the area taped off and are advising that no one go into the building until it is evaluated for safety.
Officials say that the phenomenon could have been a result of Tuesday night’s storms, but are continuing to investigate the situation this morning.
There we no injuries reported in the incident.
