WESTLAND (WWJ) — Two brothers have reportedly been taken to the hospital after shooting each other during an argument in Westland over the weekend.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon in the area of Van Born Road and Marshall Drive, according to WDIV in Detroit.
Authorities have not released the ages of either brother. Their conditions were not clear Sunday morning.
Police officials say the brothers’ father had died the day before the shooting, according to the WDIV report. It was not clear whether his death led to the argument that sparked the shooting.
Police officials told WXYZ there is no threat to the public following the shooting, which reportedly involved around 12-15 shots fired, according to the outlet.
No other details regarding the shooting have been released.
