GRAND RAPIDS (WWJ) - A man in West Michigan is dead after police say he tumbled off a balcony several stories off the ground at the senior living complex on Thursday morning.
The Grand Rapids Police Department confirmed the fatal fall occurred around 10 a.m. on March 2 at the Baldwin House Senior Living in the 2000 block of Kalamazoo Ave. SE.
A spokesperson for the facility told Mlive that the man, who is a caregiver, was visiting residents on a third floor apartment when he fell off the balcony.
Staff at the center immediately called 911, but the man died of his injuries.
Police said they do not suspect foul play, but an investigation into the man's death is ongoing.
