Cedar Point has closed the Top Thrill Dragster. Was the iconic roller coaster dangerous?

About 3 million visitors flood Cedar Point annually to enjoy over a dozen roller coasters, like the 400-foot tall Top Thrill Dragster.

But, this week — following a serious accident in 2021 — park officials announced announced they would retire and "reimagine" the ride.
