
(WWJ) The Michigan State Police is showing off an assortment of firearms, along with drugs and money recovered during a task force raid Downriver.
MSP said, following "an extensive investigation," the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (M.N.E.T.) executed two search warrants on a suspected cocaine dealer in the city of Trenton on Wednesday.
Officers seized a "large quantity" of analogue drugs, similar to Xanax and Adderall, some of which were suspected to contain fentanyl, police said.
In addition, 23 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of MDMA — commonly known as Molly or ecstasy — 11 firearms and $5,464 in cash were seized, according to MSP.
One person, identified by police as a 37-year-old convicted felon, was arrested.
Police said he was originally from Carleton, a village in Monroe County. His name has not been released, with charges pending.
MNET is a multijurisdictional narcotics task force comprised of local, state, and federal officers who were assisted during this investigation and execution of the warrants by Trenton Police and the Downriver SWAT Team.
