BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Officials are working to address a reported gas leak in Oakland County Wednesday morning and repairs could snarl traffic.
According to Cindy Dingell with the Road Commission for Oakland County, Consumers Energy is on site at the location on eastbound Lone Pine Road at Franklin Road.
Dingell said effective immediately, the roads will be closing as officials fix the leak.
There is currently no timeframe for how long Lone Pine Road and Franklin Road will be closed -- drivers are being asked to seek an alternative route at this time.
