
DETROIT (WWJ) A crash involving a police car in Detroit has left two officers hospitalized.
Police say a woman driving a Ford Escape broadsided a Detroit patrol car just before noon, on Livernois near I-96.
The driver was exiting the highway eastbound and attempted to turn southbound on Livernois when she crashed into them, according to police.
All three people involved were taken to the hospital out of precaution. All are expected to survive.
Drugs and/or alcohol are suspected.
