(WWJ) – A semi-truck crash is causing traffic headaches for drivers in both directions on I-75 in Monroe County Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. in the work zone near LaPlaisance Road.
While it's not clear what caused the crash, the truck is turned sideways across the median, blocking the left lanes on the northbound and southbound sides of the freeway.
Telegraph Road or Dixie Highway can be used as alternate routes around the crash, which is expected to stick around for much of the afternoon.
Authorities have not said whether anyone was injured in the crash. It was not clear if any other vehicles were involved.
