DETROIT (WWJ) – Crews have put out a fire at the building that houses Supino Pizzeria in Detroit’s Eastern Market.
Detroit Fire Chief James Harris tells WWJ crews were called around 4:30 p.m. after the fire broke out in a residential unit above the restaurant.
Video posted to Twitter by Seth Myers shows smoke pouring out of the upper floor windows.
Detroit firefighters quickly responded and extinguished the blaze, according to reports.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Harris said.
It was not clear whether the restaurant was damaged by the fire.
