DETROIT (WWJ) -- A Detroit woman has been charged after allegedly shooting at a repo driver on the city's east side last Thursday.
Shaquanda Tankersley, 38, faces Assault with Intent to Murder and Felony Firearm charges, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
Tankersley's car was repossessed from her house on Somerset, near Whittier and McKinney. Investigators say she followed the repo driver to a nearby street and fired shots at him.
Officers were on patrol in the area of Nottingham Road near Grayton Street -- and saw her firing at the victim. In return, the officers shot her in the upper torso. Medics arrived on the scene and transported Tankersley to a local hospital where she was treated and released.
No officers or the repo driver was injured in the shooting.
Tankersley's bond was set at $50,000. There's a bond redetermination hearing on Wednesday.
