ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) -- As the parents of accused Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley sat shackled in the wooden chairs of the 52-3 District Court, some have questioned whether Jennifer and James Crumbley should face a jury for their alleged role in their son's crimes.

The mass shooting left four students dead and wounded six others and a teacher on Nov. 30.

Multiple witnesses took the stand Tuesday as a preliminary exam began for the Crumbleys, recounting events and conversations in the days that lead up to the Oxford shooting.

WWJ's Zach Clark takes you inside the courtroom for the revealing and at times dramatic opening day of testimony.
