(WWJ) One man's trash is another man's viral video.

There's a fierce debate ongoing on social media about what should (or should not) have been done with a cup of pizza sauce that fell on the floor at a Little Caesars pizza shop.

In the incident, which was recounted on TikTok, it's alleged that employees refused to help a customer who assisted a woman who dropped the sauce.

According to a witness, a DoorDash driver was leaving the store, located in Florida, when she dropped a cup of sauce. Another customer picked up the sauce for the driver, who said she didn't want it, and then asked employees where he could throw it away.

The witness said workers told the customer, a young man, that the store had no public trash can, and to go find one at the grocery store several doors down.

"This kid went out of his way," said TikTok users @345.fam, who claimed to have witnessed the incident. "He's now got his hands covered in sauce trying to help this lady out, and you can't even take the sauce back to throw it in the trash can? So, after finally getting ahold of the guy that looked like he was in charge, I asked him just to confirm, just to confirm, and he goes, 'Nope! sorry, we can't take it. That's a policy'." **Note: Video continues profanity. Watch HERE. **

The post has drawn more than 30,000 views and thousands of comments; some users saying that this sounds like a legitimate health code policy... and others calling shenanigans.

Detroit-based Little Caesar's has not commented on the alleged incident or its company policy.
