(WWJ) The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a gunman who ran off after shooting two people outside a Pontiac bar.

Deputies and Star EMS responded just before 10 p.m. Wednesday to a call about a shooting at Satch's Place Bar, on Baldwin Ave. near Cesar E. Chavez Ave.

Deputies spoke with the bar owner who said shots were fired in the parking lot and that everyone involved left the scene.

Investigators found seven 9mm shell casings in the parking lot, and two wounded victims at McLaren Oakland Hospital.

The 27-year-old Pontiac man and a 29-year-old Pontiac man said they heard shots and saw an unknown man running away. One of the men was shot in the left hand, while the other was shot in both legs.

Both victims were listed in stable condition, officials said.

Deputies reviewed surveillance footage which showed the suspect -- a man in a light colored jacket and black hat -- walk into the parking lot and begin to shoot in the direction of the victims. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

A K9 unit tried to track the suspect, but didn't find him. He remained at large Thursday morning.

The incident remains under investigation.
