DETROIT (WWJ) -- A man has been charged in the kidnapping of a 5-year-old girl in Detroit.
The situation unfolded last Wednesday night when Detroit Police were called to the area of Schaefer Highway and Capital Street to respond to a report of child endangerment.
When they arrived, officers found out that the child had been held captive in a nearby house.
The suspect — who has been confirmed as D'Angelo Cash Clemons — is being charged with Kidnapping and Child Endangerment.
Clemons was arraigned on Sunday at the 36th District Court, where he received a $250,000 bond and was ordered to wear a tether.
Detroit Police say the case remains under investigation and no other details are being released at this time.
