DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a deadly shooting at a business on the city’s west side.
Officers responded to a shooting at a barbershop on Greenfield near M-10 after 9 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 5).
Detroit Police Deputy Chief Jacqueline Pritchett said when officers arrived on scene, they found the front window of the shop shot out. Police said there were no signs of forced entry or struggle prior to the shooting.
When they got inside, two men were dead.
Police are trying to determine if the shooting took place inside or outside the barbershop.
Anyone who may have been inside before or during the shooting, or those who left before officers arrived, are being asked to call Detroit’s homicide department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.
“We are depending upon the citizens of this city to bring closure for the families of the victims,” said Pritchett.
