DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are hoping that someone in the public has information on the whereabouts of a man with schizophrenia who went missing earlier this week.
According to police, Porter Brooks left his home in the 14900 block of Littlefield in Detroit on Monday, June 27, at around 1 p.m., and he did not return.
Littlefield is located in the area of Chalfonte Street and Eaton Avenue, just east of Schaefer Highway.
Brooks is described as a Black male with brown eyes and a short dark afro. He's 6'0'' tall and weighs around 150 lbs.
His mother told police that he lives with Schizophrenia.
Brooks was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and black Nike Air Max shoes.
