Detroit police say 14-year-old girl who failed to return home after school has been found

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police have good news about a 14-year-old girl who was reported missing earlier this month when she didn't come home from school.

According to the department, Gabrielle Neely disappeared after class was dismissed on March 15. Her family called police after she didn't show up at her home, on Kendall Street.

On April 27, police sent an update stating that the missing teen was recovered. No further details were provided.
