(WWJ) Detroit Police say a 12-year-old boy who went missing on the city's east side in the middle of the night is back home safe.
Police had asked for tips to help find Donovan Amos, who was last seen on Monday, January 11, 2021 at approximately 12:35 a.m. at his home in the 11500 block of Beaconsfield. His family said he disappeared overnight, and they reported him missing the next morning.
Police sent an update later Monday morning saying the child had been recovered and was safe.
It's not cleat where he'd been. No further information has been released.
