Police searching for suspect in Lions hat, red Chevy SUV who robbed man pumping gas on Detroit's east side [PHOTOS]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police have released photos of a man who's wanted for a robbery at a gas station, last week on the city's east side.

At around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, police said a 54-year-old man was pumping gas in the 5000 block of E. Davison, when the suspect approached
and announced a robbery.

The victim handed over his wallet, and the fled the scene in a red Chevy SUV.

The suspect is described as man around 25-= to 30 years old, 5'8” to 5'10” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue jacket over a gray hooded sweatshirt, black mask, black Detroit Lions hat, black jogging pants, and black shoes.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or his vehicle, or who has any information about this crime is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s 11th precinct at 313-596-1140, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up (1-800-773-2587).
