DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are seeking the public's help for information on a deadly hit-and-run that happened last summer on the city's east side.
Officials say a man in his 50s was killed while crossing Gratiot Avenue near Moran Street on July 19, 2021, at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Project Green Light video shows the victim exiting the bus and beginning to cross the street, before he is struck and killed by a driver in an older model, dark-colored sedan -- possibly a Mercury Grand Marquis.

From another angle, the footage shows the vehicle as the driver flees the scene without stopping.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s Homicide section at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up (1-800-773-2587). You will remain anonymous.
