(WWJ) – When Michigan Republicans gathered in Lansing last weekend to nominate their candidates for Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General and Secretary of State, things got a little hectic.

An attempted coup inside the Macomb County Republican Party a few months back not only led to fighting over power within the county party, but it brought Saturday's convention to a screeching halt.
