
DETROIT (WWJ) — The search is on for a man accused of pulling out a gun and robbing a dollar store in Detroit last week.
The robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. at the Family Dollar in the 8500 block of Woodward — north of W. Grand Boulevard — on Tuesday, July 23.
Detroit police on Tuesday released photos of the suspect, who they say walked into the store, pulled out a gun, and demanded money from the cash register.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male with light complexion, about 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7 with a full beard and braids. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black shorts, black knitted hat and a white facemask.
