DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a missing Detroit teen who hasn't been seen since Friday morning.
Shaniyah Reeves, 17, was last seen leaving her home on Monte Vista Street near Fenkell and Meyers on the city's west side around 10:30 a.m. on June 23, according to Detroit police.
The teen left home with her boyfriend that morning, but never came back, officials said. Two days later, authorities are asking for help bringing her home.
Reeves was last seen wearing a red shirt, black pants and white gym shoes. She is described as about 5-foot-6, 200 lbs., with braided brown hair and hazel eyes.
No other information on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance was released.
