Detroit police searching for missing teen last seen 2 days ago

Authorities in Detroit are trying to bring a missing 13 year-old-girl home after she was last seen leaving her home on Thursday.

DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities in Detroit are trying to bring a missing 13 year-old-girl home after she was last seen leaving her home on Thursday.

Detroit police said Taylor Reid did not return and after she left her residence around 6:50 p.m. on July 7 in the 3900 block of 14th St. in Detroit.

Authorities said the teen left without permission.

The girl was described by police as a Black female standing apporximently 5' 1" tall and weighting 140 lbs. She has black, braided hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue crop top with orange letters, black shorts, and black ‘Yeezy’ shoes.

Anyone with any information about Taylor or her whereabouts has been asked to contact the Detroit Police Department's 3rd Precinct at 313-596-5301.
