DETROIT (WWJ) - Authorities say they need help identifying a suspect accused of aggravated assault at a store on Detroit’s northwest side.
Detroit police said the man was caught on cameras aiming a gun at convivence store workers after a disagreement and now they're trying to track him down.
The incident occurred in the area of 14100 Linwood around 11:45 the morning of July 21, police added.
Police said the store is part of the city’s partnership called “Project Green Light Detroit,” where real-time cameras are installed and connected to police headquarters as a way to "deter, identify, and solve crime" within the Motor City.
At this time, it is unclear what started the argument that led the suspect to point the weapon at others.
Authorities said anyone with information can call 313-596-1000 or make a 100% anonymous tip through Michigan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
