A deadly crash that happened overnight is under investigation by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department.

Police say they responded to Geddes Avenue near Towsley in Ann Arbor just before midnight, and that's when they discovered a two-car crash with multiple injuries.

The investigation revealed 37-year-old man was traveling west on Geddes when he lost control of his car. His vehicle spun, then came to rest in the middle of traffic.

He was struck by another car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Inside the vehicle that struck him was an entire family from Kentucky. All four in the car sustained minor injuries.

Police aren't yet sure what caused the man to lose control of his vehicle, but they say the road curves back at forth at exactly that spot. The deadly crash remains under investigation.
