SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - DTE reported around 2,453 customers are without power Saturday afternoon after an outage showed a swatch of affected homes and businesses in Southfield.
According to the DTE Outage Map, lights are out in an area around Southfield Road to 10 Mile and 12 Mile Roads.
Officials cited "public interference with DTE equipment" as the reason for the outage.
Power is expected to be restored around 6 p.m. this evening. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area as traffic signals may be affected.
