EASTPOINTE (WWJ) - Police said they are looking for a prisoner who managed to escape a transport Monday evening and has so far eluded authorities in Macomb County.
Devonta Deshawn Moore, 18, managed to flee on foot from a prisoner van while wearing belly chains in the area of 9 Mile and Gratiot in Eastpointe.
Moore is wanted in connection to domestic assault and fleeing and eluding.
Eastpointe police said a search of the immediate area was not successful and have asked the public for help in locating Moore.

Moore, who is an Eastpointe native, is described as a black male, standing 5' 11" and weighing 180 lbs. He was last known to be wearing a black tee shirt with a multi-colored photo and black pants.
