EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- An escaped prisoner from Macomb County is back in custody.
Fox 2 Detroit reports that Devonta Deshawn Moore was arrested Thursday night during a traffic stop outside of Brighton, with the help of Livingston County Sheriff's deputies and Michigan State Police.
The 18-year-old was wanted for domestic assault and fleeing and alluding.
On Monday, Moore ran away while he was being taken to a prisoner transport van with other inmates. He had just been arraigned and was headed to the Macomb County Jail at around 10:20 a.m.
Moore also had on belly chains when he escaped.
He will be arraigned on Friday in the 38th District Court.
