DETROIT (WWJ) - Federal agents are investigating a 26-year-old Macomb County women for allegedly filming videos of herself performing sex acts with an infant girl -- she then sent them to a man out of state, court documents claim.

In a criminal complaint filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Dec. 8, Amber Dunbar, 26, of Warren, admitted to filming three short sexually explicit videos on Aug. 10 and sent them through Kik, a messaging app, to a man outside of Michigan.

In the complaint, agents said the FBI zeroed in on Dunbar after authorities in another state began investigating the man on Oct. 18 for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Through that investigation, agents found the man was communicating with others on Kik and asked them to send him child pornography. One of the users, who was later identified as Dunbar, conversed with the man and even discussed payment prior to the videos being sent.

Authorities said they were able to trace the user the man was exchanging messages to back to Dunbar in Macomb County. As police were still investigating the man from out of state, court documents say they discovered three short films that showed a woman performing sex acts on an infant girl.

Two of the videos, the woman called the infant explicit names and kissed her. In the third video recovered in the app, Dunbar allegedly performed a sex act on the infant.

Authorities said they obtained a search warrant on Dec. 7 for a home in Warren that was "associated" with Dunbar.

As she was interviewed, agents said Dunbar admitted to being a part of a chat groups on Kik that involved users who traded child pornography, including one group that focused on incest between children and adults.

As outlined in court documents, Dunbar said she never downloaded or saved any of the videos shared in the chat, but did say she viewed them.

During the course of the interview, Dunbar admitted to being the person the man from out of state send messages to, but said she did not record videos or send photos and she did not hurt any child.

She then admitted to agents that she had recorded the videos on Aug. 10 at the request of the man on Kik. She then told authorities she sent the videos, but the man never paid her for them.

Agents then wrote in the complaint that they showed her screenshots of the videos showing the woman and the infant.

"Dunbar was shown a screenshot from two of the videos described above and admitted she was the woman in the screenshots and that a minor child known to her was the infant," the criminal complaint said.

As outlined in court documents, Dunbar then said it was the only time she ever recorded any such videos and she had not engaged in sexual activity with the young girl at any other time.

Investigators say the case is still on-going, but the criminal complaint states there is probably cause to charge Dunbar on producing and distributing child pornography.
