WWJ (DETROIT) -- After nearly two months, Monday is the last day to get a shot at FEMA’s vaccination clinic at Ford Field in Detroit.

Nearly a quarter of a million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered at the clinic since it opened its doors in late March.

The Ford Field location was Michigan’s largest on-site vaccination clinic.

Later on Monday morning, Governor Whitmer’s Protect Michigan Commission, FEMA, and the Henry Ford Health System are hosting a virtual news conference, where they will reportedly share results from the past eight weeks and mark the final day of the clinic.

The Michigan COVID vaccine dashboard reports 55.7% of Michiganders 16+ have received at least their first dose with over 7.6 million vaccine doses administered statewide.

On Friday, Governor Whitmer announced that Michigan would lift the indoor and outdoor mask mandate for fully vaccinated people in accordance with the updated CDC guidance.
