DETROIT (WWJ) -- An early Thursday morning fire at Mudgie's Deli in Corktown was set intentionally and is being investigated as arson.
Detroit Deputy Fire Commissioner Dave Fornell says a neighbor called to report the fire around 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
"There wasn't a lot of damage to the exterior, and there was, from what they said, very little damage to the interior," Fornell said.
Fornell says the good news is that Mudgie's is expected to get back up and running "very soon."
