South Lyon firefighters rescued 10 people from a burning condominium building for seniors overnight.
Officials said the blaze broke out at about midnight at the Colonial Acres complex near 11 Mile and Pontiac Trail. Heavy smoke poured from one of the complex's six units.
Three of the victims were taken to the hospital, including two who were pulled from the fire unconscious, and are expected to be OK, The building is considered a total loss.
As for the cause, firefighters say it's still under investigation but it appears to be accidental. The fire started in a basement.
