FRASER (WWJ) — The “all-clear” has been given after a motel in Fraser had to be evacuated Tuesday morning during a police investigation.
It all unfolded around 9:30 a.m. on March 4 in the area of Groesbeck and Doris, near Utica Road, according to Fraser police.
Fraser police were called to the scene to help another police department investigate “suspicious items found in an arrested person’s belongings,” officials said.
Officials said they had to set a cautionary perimeter and additional resources were called in.
Investigators eventually learned there was no credible threat and the area was declared safe around 10:30 a.m.
Michigan State Police and the Roseville Police Department assisted at the scene.
