FRASER (WWJ) -- Fraser Police say Flock helped them catch a suspect connected to a fatal hit-and-run over the weekend.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Fraser officers responded to Utica Road, south of 15 Mile Road, on reports of a motorcycle crash.
A woman who was hit while riding a motorcycle was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name was not immediately released.
Investigators said the driver who hit the woman drove away immediately after the crash.
Fraser Public Safety Officers were able to locate the driver with Flock cameras and arrest them, the police department said.
Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing, and at this time it's not known as this time if drugs or alcohol may have been involved,
The case is being sent to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office which will determine charges. The suspect's name and other details are being withheld until formal charges are filed.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have additional information that could help investigators is asked to all police at 586-293-2000 ext. 222.
