(WWJ) - Gov. Gretchen Whitmer challenged Gov. Jay Inslee to a wager ahead of Monday's College Football National Championship game.
This will be the first time UM plays in the College Football National Championship.
Whitmer said she will send Inslee a pack of Haze and Blue IPA from Big Lake Brewing in Holland, Michigan. Inslee has a case of wine from the Naches Heights Vineyard in Yakima, Washington on the line.
"Michigan's going to win this thing, and I look forward to saying 'I told you so,'" Whitmer said in a video posted on X.
Whether "W" stands for Washington, as Inslee said, or Wolverines, will be settled when the University of Michigan takes on the University of Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 in Houston, Texas.
