COMMERCE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Authorities in Metro Detroit are looking to bring home a missing teen from Commerce Township after she disappeared two days ago.
Detectives with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office have asked for help in locating Laken Elezabeth Lewis, 15, after her family said she never returned home on Thursday.
Authorities were told Laken left her home in the Stratford Villa mobil home park around 6:15 p.m. to go on a walk. Her family said she was expected to return home about two hours later, but never showed up.
"The girl's mother said Laken is never late without asking for permission and would have kept her informed if she was going to be late," the sheriff's office said in a press release.
When detectives tracked down Laken's biological father in Grand Haven on the state's west side, he told them he hadn't had any contact with Laken in several weeks.

The 15-year-old is described as standing 5' 7" tall and weighing about 110 pounds. She has long dark hair, deputies said.
She was last seen wearing a light blue zip up jacket, shorts or multicolored pants and white Air Force One shoes.
