HIGHLAND PARK (WWJ) -- A Detroit-area family is asking for help to find a loved one who disappeared early this year.
Eugene Thompson, 71, was last seen at the Gabrielle Apartments, located at 14201 2nd Ave., in the area of Woodward Ave. and Manchester Pkwy. Highland Park.
According to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, the last person to see Thompson may have been his landlord while Thompson was paying his rent on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.
On Wednesday, Crime Stoppers of Michigan announced a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to Thompson's location.
Anyone who has seen this missing person, or who has any helpful information about this case, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587). Tips may also be submitted online at this link.
As always, those who call Crime Stoppers will stay 100% anonymous, will not be asked their names, to speak to police or to testify in court.
