DETROIT (WWJ) -- As the Detroit Lions prepare to take on the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving Day, a superstar rapper will also be getting warmed up for the game.

It’s been announced that six-time Grammy Award-nominated artist and actor Jack Harlow will perform during the halftime show on Thanksgiving.

The announcement was made prior to the Lions showdown against the Raiders last night during Monday Night Football, with Harlow in attendance at Ford Field.

Harlow has collaborated with several major artists, including Detroit natives like Big Sean and Eminem.

The “What’s Poppin’” rapper — who recently starred in a remake of the movie “White Men Can’t Jump” — has said his performance on Nov. 23 will be anything but “run of the mill.”

Meanwhile, The War and Treaty, a husband-wife musical duo who hail from Albion, Mich., have been tapped to sing the National Anthem.

The Lions will kick off against the Packers on Thanksgiving Day at 12:30 p.m.
