Little Caesars Arena evacuated after ammonia leak leaves 2 injured

DETROIT (WWJ) – Little Caesars Arena has been evacuated after an ammonia leak burned two people on Thursday.

Fire officials say two people suffered minor burns in the incident.

It appears the ammonia leak was in the basement of the building where the ice is made, according to fire officials.

Crews remain on-scene, as of 4:15 p.m.

No events are scheduled at the arena on Thursday, but WWE Smackdown is scheduled for Friday night.
