LIVONIA (WWJ) - Family members of a 36-year-old wife and mother of two who went missing on Monday are pleading with the community for help in locating her.

The Livonia Police Department said Kasey Debat disappeared after she left her home in a 2019 white Ford Flex with a Michigan license plate #CMJ2047 after 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 -- she has not been seen or heard from since.

Kasey's sister, Tiffany Sanchez, told WWJ's Mike Campbell that she's "terrified" as Kasey would never leave her two young girls without saying anything to anyone, especially her family.

"Everything is very confusing," Sanchez said.

According to Sanchez, Kasey's husband, Mike, told family members on Tuesday that he and Kasey got into a small argument the night before.

Mike said Kasey was walking up and down the stairs several times and then left, stating "my sister did not come home that night, which is something that is not like my sister at all," Sanchez added.

"There is a Ring cam picture from a neighbor of my sister's vehicle leaving the neighborhood at around 6:50 p.m.," Sanchez said.

"[She] didn't take anything, not even a toothbrush and then just didn't come back."

Attempts to reach Kasey by phone were unsuccessful, her sister said her phone was either dead or turned off.

Sanchez said she became aware that Kasey made a comment on a private classroom group on social media around 10 p.m. Monday, but those that saw it thought the comment was "odd" as it promoted her photography business.

According to Sanchez, Kasey has a mild case of depression, but she manages it appropriately.

"She manages her anxiety very well," her sister said. "She makes sure she gets sleep, she's very, very healthy, she eats really well, she's not a substance user -- she is just very healthy. She's a caretaker to her two daughters who are in middle school and elementary and she would never just leave them."

Kasey is described as a white female standing apporximently 5' 4" tall and weighing 128 lbs. She has long brown hair and brown eyes.

Kasey was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a blue cardigan sweat and blue jeans.

"If you see her, know where she is, you can call me. My number is 269-370-1451." Sanchez pleaded. "You can contact the police. Again, she lives in Livonia -- we don't know where she is."
