MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) - A male suspect accused of trying to break into multiple homes in Macomb County also exposed himself on a Ring doorbell camera prior to being arrested, deputies said.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said the trouble began in the 100 block of Market Street in Mount Clemens after multiple 911 reports were made about a man attempting to break into homes.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a 60-year-old man from Mount Clemens and arrested him without incident.
During the course of their investigation, deputies allege the man attempted to enter at least three homes on Market Street. When the suspect realized he couldn't enter one of the homes, he exposed himself to the homeowner's Ring doorbell camera and masturbated.
The man then went to two other homes where he also failed to gain entry, the sheriff's office said.
The MCSO has requested charges of Home Invasion in the 1st Degree and Indecent Exposure.
The suspect is expected to be arraigned on Thursday, November 16, at 41B District Court in Clinton Township.
