Macomb County authorities saved 12 ducklings from sewer drain over the weekend [PHOTOS]

Mt. Clemens (WWJ) -- Macomb County authorities saved 12 ducklings from a sewer on Sunday.

When a Macomb County deputy heard some commotion coming from a drain on Malow Street in Mt. Clemens, he looked in and saw several baby ducks trapped inside.

A short time later, the Mt. Clemens Fire Department arrived on scene to assist the deputy in the rescue.

The ducklings were then saved from the sewer and reunited with their mother.

On their Facebook page, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office wrote, "Today is a great day!"
