(WWJ) A popular Italian restaurant owner in Macomb County is expected to be charged later this week in the murder of his wife.
Joe Palleschi, 55, is being held at the Macomb County Jail as the suspect in the fatal shooting of his wife, Karen, 53; according to the Macomb Daily.
Clinton Township police say officers were called to the couple's home on Saturday around 2:40 a.m., where they found his wife dead.
There is no word on a motive.
The Palleschi family owns the Villa Restaurant in Eastpointe, near 8 Mile and Gratiot. They have been in business since 1956.
A sign on the restaurant door says it is currently closed due to a "family tragedy." In a post on Facebook, they said they will reopen for takeout only on Wednesday.
