(WWJ) A Macomb County who set off a search after walking away from her camper in Port Huron has been found, according to authorities.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office said 69-year old Elaine Frank of Chesterfield Township went missing at the KOA campground, at 5111 Lapeer Road in Port Huron, overnight.
She left her camper on foot in an unknown direction, according to the sheriff's office, sometime between midnight Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday.
Authorities were concerned for Frank's well-being, as they said she has dementia and is unfamiliar with the area.
A few hours after releasing her photo and asking for tips from the public, the sheriff's office sent an update saying that Frank had been located.
It's unclear where she was found. No further information was released.
