LENOX TWP. (WWJ) -- One person has been arrested following a deadly stabbing in Macomb County's Lenox Township, late Sunday night.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said it responded just before 10:30 p.m. to the Millstone Pond Mobile Home Park in the 57000 block of Millstone Pond S, in the area of 26 Mile Rd. and I-94, on a report of a stabbing.
Deputies arrived to find the victim was not breathing. Efforts by a witness, deputies and EMS to revive the person failed, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified by officials as a 24-year-old Lenox Township man, was arrested without incident, the sheriff's office said.
He is currently being held at the Macomb County Jail.
Speaking to WWJ Newsradio 950 Monday morning, MCSO Public Information Officer Jennifer Putney did not release any information about the victim including whether it was a man or a woman.
The investigation is ongoing.
