(WWJ) A young man is behind bars after police say he pulled a gun during a fight outside a popular Roseville bar.
Police arrived on the scene at Dooley's on Gratiot Ave. at around 1 a.m. on Saturday, which was Halloween.
"There was a large crowd gathered in front of the business and it appeared to be some sort of altercation," Roseville Police said, in a release.
As officers approached, police said they witnessed a 19-year-old Troy man pointing a black handgun at another person.
Noticing that the police had arrived, the armed man tried to run away, but was arrested after short foot chase.
As all of this was happening, police said there were several other fights happening in the same parking lot.
Police from several neighboring jurisdictions assisted Roseville officers in clearing the area, and no other arrests were made.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect remains jailed awaiting expected charges of felonious assault and possession of a stolen firearm.
His name is being withheld pending an arraignment in 39th District Court.
